Meet Cameron Price

Cameron Price has trained jiu-jitsu for 25 years and holds a 2nd-degree black belt in Gracie Jiu-Jitsu.

His start was anything but typical. In 2001, there were almost no Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu schools in Indiana. Jiu-jitsu found Cameron by chance, when a visitor to his traditional Aiki-Jutsu school started sharing techniques and introduced live sparring. He was hooked from the first roll.

He soon found Professor Chet Schemahorn, a direct student of Grandmaster Hélio Gracie and Rorion Gracie, who became his coach for the next 18 years. Cameron earned his Gracie instructor certification in 2012 and left a career in the medical industry to teach full time in Fort Wayne, Indiana. In 2017, Ryron and Rener Gracie awarded him his black belt.

In 2021, Rener Gracie invited Cameron to Gracie University headquarters in Torrance, California. He spent two years and four months teaching and studying alongside Rener, Ryron, and the HQ master instructors, and traveled the country teaching Gracie Survival Tactics, the Gracie law enforcement program.

In September 2024, Cameron opened Gracie Jiu-Jitsu North Austin. He still teaches the street-first approach he learned from day one: jiu-jitsu built for a real fight, not a tournament.
